The Indian Open of Surfing is an annual surfing festival held along Karnataka’s famous Konkan coast, at Sasihithlu beach in the small coastal town of Mulki. Mantra Surf Club, one of the oldest surfing clubs of India hosts the event towards the end of May on the choppy pre-monsoon waters of the Arabian Sea. The legendary Jonty Rhodes, who is also the surfing ambassador for India regularly attends the event.
