Namma Bengaluru Habba

Namma Bengaluru Habba (Our Bengaluru Festival) is an annual cultural festival organised by the Karnataka Tourism Department with an aim to promote the city’s ethnicity and rich heritage, and to inspire environment conservation.

The festival witnessed its first edition in August 2017, in the heart of the city at Sankey Tank. Apart from some brilliant traditional dance performances like the Yakshgana, Dollu Kunitha and Hulivesha, there was fly boarding, music, a colourful flea market full of organic products and jewellery.  The state’s Minister of Tourism Priyank Kharge was one of the prominent figures attending the event. Through this festival, Karnataka wants to rejuvenate Bengaluru’s lakes and build a of community spirit by encouraging people to come together, spend time outdoors and give back to the environment.
