Anthargange is located about 60kms from Bangalore city, very close to Kolar. It’s just off the highway, and quite easily accessible. This also means it gets quite crowded during weekend. The trek itself is quite on the easy level. There’s a long set of steps to reach the temple, post which, is about an hour’s climb to the plateau on the top. 30 minutes if you’re fit and not stopping for too many photos.
Sometimes things just don’t seem to work out. You’re trying to break away from the path everyone’s forcing you to take. They teach you to say no, but you can’t use it on them. They’re all lined up to give you advice, but you now know its mostly for their own gain. Sometimes you need to just nod your head, turn around, and do you own thing.
Started work on a new ad with Anup, and while its still quite experimental, it looks kick ass. Show’s a whole new frontier of the city skies.
Haven’t been to a concert in a couple of months. Been busy travelling and editing. And a good way to kick off 3 different concerts I’m shooting is to start of with the 3rd anniversary gig of Clown with a frown live at the Humming Tree.
Shot the Saiyyan lyric video about a month ago. The first launch was at Gilly’s where Lagori played live last week. Web release was today.

Was at Counter Culture Bangalore, last night to watch the Finals of the FIFA world cup, along with a 1000+ people who come to stay up late in Sunday night. Was fun to finally see the football frenzy in Bangalore.
Was at a rock/metal gig after a long time last evening. Killing it at Vapour was a new band from Infosys, called The pulse theory. Progressive rock/metal feel with some neat drum work.
When they first announced that Sunburn would be heading to different cities, I was skeptical. Sunburn was associated with all things Goa. But then, Sunburn Bangalore showed me that we can definitely do justice to the music and dance festival.
The annual treat for the beer guzzlers of the pub capital of India is here. The oktoberfest 2013 Bangalore is happening this weekend, and I’ll be there to cover the madness. Lots of music, fun, dance, and of course, beer!
