*Rewind* *Cue background music and flashes of memory*I’m headed to Kodencherry (nowhere near Pondicherry and somewhere in Kerala) last August to the Malabar river festival, as a friend of mine informed the organisers he knew a wedding photographer who might be able to shoot a Kayaking competition. Strange connection, but I’ve seen stranger.

Alexis and Sandunes live at Indie March at Counter Culture
Got to catch the second half of the Indie March at Counter Culture last night, owing to a late flight back from a wedding shoot. Wasn’t gonna shoot, but some awesome lighting by Guru tempted me enough to pull out the camera.
Air, water, sun and steel
Lots of travelling, lots of shooting, lots of editing, no time for updating. Such is the paradox, a word re-introduced to me by one really humble Italian friend. We need to make time for ourselves, amongst all this sun and steel and keeps pushing us into a tight box. View from the almost infinity pool in our hotel at Pune, India.

A match made in heaven – Happy Diwali
A match made in heaven – Happy Diwali Happy Diwali folks. I know its been really late, but the last 1 week was spent shooting a crazy wedding in Goa. Congratulations Kumkum and Dexter. Wishing you both a crazy, love, squabble and fun filled life ahead.
Shooting Phenomenon 2014
It’s been a great delight to be shooting at Phenomenon 2014. That Josephite blood runs strong, be in Indian high school or boys high school. We’re still brothers deep down inside, inspite of the rivalry. And in the absense of Equinox (which is coming back this year btw), this was easily the biggest PUC/11-12th fest in Bangalore city. Thank you Viany Jain for making sure I was there.
An all boys Goa trip
This is what you get when you combine the athleticism of Ansul, creativity of Johnny and a full bunch of sportive boys. First time experiencing an all boys Goa trip, and it will be amongst my top 3 of all time. Hands down. One mad video of the trip coming soon.
All lined up
Sometimes things just don’t seem to work out. You’re trying to break away from the path everyone’s forcing you to take. They teach you to say no, but you can’t use it on them. They’re all lined up to give you advice, but you now know its mostly for their own gain. Sometimes you need to just nod your head, turn around, and do you own thing.
Shopping in the lanes of old Jodhpur
My recent trip to Jodhpur gave me 2 hours to spare on the last day. Decided to visit the clock tower in old Jodhpur, which was quite close to where I was staying. Auto’s as usual wouldn’t go by the meter to the market. 1 big camera and shades immediately put me in the tourist category.
City skies
Started work on a new ad with Anup, and while its still quite experimental, it looks kick ass. Show’s a whole new frontier of the city skies.
