Well I might’ve missed the Sao Joao at Goa, but I did manage to have a good time with friends, and also found time to put the new tablet I got, to task. 5 days of sun, rain, alcohol, technology and fun 🙂

Air guitar at an all new level
Was in Goa last week to celebrate Sao Jao along with the locals. While that didn’t quite work out, I did manage to get some quirky shots elsewhere. This one’s below the bridge at Miramar beach. Reminds me of a guitar fretboard, taking the term air guitar to an all new level.
But first, let me take a selfie
Goa. The best place for taking a break in India. My affair with her continues, come monsoon or not. Gonna be back to work full speed, once one of the best vacations I’ve had finishes today 🙂
When in a hurry, just jump onto a magic carpet
The driver (Vinyl) unfortunately was in a hurry, so he opened the boot of the car, and out comes the magic carpet, to save the day.
Full love only for the Canon 85mm 1.8 lens
Had my friend in the USA buy a new Canon 85mm 1.8 lens to add to my kiity. Boy what a steal it is, at 23k INR. The depth of field is so gorgeous, the focussing so fast, and the bokeh is just beautiful to the eyes. Doesn’t make me feel like needing the Canon 85mm 1.2L lens anymore.
Selfie on the road to Goa
Full missing scenes is happening with the peeps at Tarantismo. Haven’t been dancing in more than 2 months. Laziness is setting in. To top it off, everyone’s scattered across cities and countries now. Shot of us of our last trip to Goa, shot somewhere on the road to Goa’s Calangute beach.
The pulse theory live at Vapour mircro brewery and pub
Was at a rock/metal gig after a long time last evening. Killing it at Vapour was a new band from Infosys, called The pulse theory. Progressive rock/metal feel with some neat drum work.
Hi
Too damn high
Buying sarees online seem to be the new rage
Flipkart just recently bought out Myntra. Online retail seems to be closing in on the fashion industry as well. And with buying sarees online seeming to work, I think they’ve got even the traditionals on their side.
Gopro quadcopter test
Was in Mumbai last year shooting a wedding with the boys @ The Wedding Flicks. Robin was planning to use the spare time for a gopro quadcopter test. He had a nat geo shoot the next few days in Pune. So took out the baby, and gave it a whirl. All footage credits to Robin Hellmuth from The Con Photographer.
