My second international trip takes on a honeymoon to Maldives with Anup and Bhushan. We’re here to shoot whale sharks and manta rays, not to mention a luxury hotel. A bikini shoot is also in the prospects. Its a honeymoon of us with our second love, film making.

Lagori, the band, released their debut album
One of my favourite bands, Lagori, has just released their debut album. They combine Indian classical melodies and inflections with Rock music, resulting in an interesting mix that is high on energy, while being catchy and soulful at the same time.Go buy it here, and thank me later!
Two heads off the dance floor
Saw this pic when I was going through my archives. Shot about 2 years ago, when we were shooting a wedding in Goa. The wedding reception was pretty much over, and with a few shots down, we couldn’t resist but join in the festivities. 2 minutes in and were trying all sorts of stunts in the dance floor!
Shooting kids games for ASDA
Kids! Never been too fond of them. Noisy, bratty, hyper and jumping on your back types. This however was a new experience for me. My close friend Ansul runs ASDA (Ansul’s Dance Academy), which works primarily with kids. Wasn’t really sure if I could deliver when he wanted me to shoot some kids games and dance movement, but I have this issue of not being able to say no 🙂
My first attempt at light painting – Tree of Light
Was in Maddur last week, stuck on the terrace of a farm house, star gazing with a bunch of stoners. Suddenly a bright idea hits Arthur, my close buddy, to try some light painting. The first tree we attempted was a big fat fail. The next shot was much better, the Tree of Light.
Pebble the Jungle Lounge, Palace grounds, Bangalore
Pebble the Jungle Lounge is one of Bangalore’s most popular nightclubs, known for its eclectic musical tastes and brilliantly crafted natural ambience. Located in the event hub of the city, Palace grounds, this is a favourite jaunt for a lot of cultural activities also. One of crazy sites I worked with every night, for days on end, shredding my brain molecules.
Exporting Indian culture to the USA
We couldn’t let go of Chris Jarosz, without having him remember us by. And what best way, than a Methiyadi? A perfect mix of tradition and modern masala, a subtle way of exporting Indian culture. Our little way of saying thank you, for all the little things you taught us, and the movement you shared with the memebers of Tarantismo.
Jean Claude Biguine – Press Release
And my pictures for Jean Claude Biguine were used in their press release. Shot the pictures last week at their new outlet in Phoenix city market, Whitefield, Bangalore.

Location shoot for Jean Claude Biguine in Bangalore
So I got last minute call to do a location shoot for Jean Claude Biguine in Bangalore. They opened their second outlet in Phoenix market city, Whitefield. Took it up as the original photographer couldn’t make it, and ditched on the actual day of the shoot. Was quite a learning curve since they had the whole ceiling covered with lights, and glass/reflections all over.
